Pursuant with our obligations with Canada’s Private Buoy Regulations under the Canada Shipping Act, this is to notify that hazard buoys have been deployed in Drag Lake.
Unfortunately, the winter markers and anchors for hazard buoys HR2 and HR3 were likely dragged by the ice into deeper waters. The plan is to replace the lost anchors and deploy these remaining two hazard buoys by next weekend. Please be extra cautious when boating in the vicinity of these two locations.
A big thanks to Ryan Vincent and John Travaglini for managing the Drag Lake hazard buoys.
Further information on the hazard buoys can be found here.
