Invasive Species Awareness
August 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Staff from the Invading Species Awareness Program (ISAP) will present an invading species educational event again this year.
The ISAP staff are knowledgeable and will bring preserved samples of invading species and numerous handouts. These will let cottages learn how to identify suspected invading species so they can be reported, identified and dealt with. Early detection and control are key.
They will also present the Clean, Drain, Dry program that is a critical way to keep new invading species out of Drag and Spruce.
The event is suitable for adults and children.
Early detection and control are key. Locations of suspected invading species should be reported, with pictures and location (Lat/Long if possible), to dslpoainvasive@gmail.com.
