Pursuant with our obligations with Canada’s Private Buoy Regulations under the Canada Shipping Act, this is to notify that hazard buoys HR1, HR2, HR3 and HW2 have been deployed in Drag Lake.The winter markers and anchors for hazard buoys HW1, HW3 and HW4 were likely dragged by the ice into deeper waters. As these mark our primary Eurasian Watermilfoil bed, please leave extra distance when you're in the vicinity of HW2.
The plan is to replace the lost anchors and deploy the remaining three hazard buoys this week.
