In keeping with our obligations with Canada’s Private Buoy Regulations under the Canada Shipping Act, this is to notify that the 10 hazard buoys on Spruce Lake (HR8) and Outlet Bay (HR4, HR5, HR6, HR7, HT1, HT2, HT3, HT4, HT5) have swapped out for the winter markers. This year's winters markers are white boat fenders so sit higher on in the water and are easier to see. Hopefully the ice won’t lock into this higher profile and drag the anchors in the spring.

It is anticipated that the Drag Lake Hazard buoys will be pulled over the Thanksgiving weekend.
