Latest News
The DSLPOA Executive has recently been made aware of Hydro One’s planned usage of Garlon in our area – a strong herbicide used to suppress plant growth. Based on the information received, on behalf of our Association we are strongly opposing the use Garlon within the vicinity of our properties and bodies of water, and support the Environment and Climate Change Committee’s recommendation of an outright ban within the Municipality of Dysart et al. We will work with Dysart Council to ensure that the approved motion (#19-99) to prohibit the use of Garlon within the Municipality of Dysart et al remains in effect.
