MNRF Broad-scale Fish Netting for Drag/Spruce Lakes

27 June 2017 | 0 Comments

Be aware that MNRF will be netting fish on our lakes June 26-30 & July 4-7 using a 3 man crew as part of their Broad-scale Monitoring Program. The Broad-scale Monitoring Program is designed to monitor the current and changing state of fisheries across Ontario. This is year five of the second five-year cycle to collect information for fisheries management.

Here are copies of the information we have received:

  1. Covering Letter – click here
  2. Information for lake residents and visitors – click here
  3. BsM Information Poster – click here

This is a great opportunity for us to learn more about the fish health of our lakes.

Another Lost Dock

"I have a cottage on Outlet Bay, and this week my dock, which was not yet secured to my shoreline disappeared.  Is there any way to survey Outlet Bay members to see if anyone has retrieved it?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated."
