As a part of these important investments, Parks Canada has announced funding in order to rehabilitate the Drag Lake dams in the Municipality of Dysart et al.

Update August 11, 2016

  • Many thanks to Dwayne McCutcheon who donated a 3rd full-sized picnic table to Podmore Beach. Along with the other 2 tables donated by Timbermart and Wayne Hussey’s 3 kid-sized picnic tables, it’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Thank you to everyone for helping to keep it so clean and tidy. Just a reminder that it is a NO BURN area.  Of course, all of Haliburton is No Burn right now.
  • Golf Day is our last association social event of this season (where is summer going ?). The always fun event is Saturday September 3rd starting at 10 AM. Call Wayne Hussey to register, 705 457-2892.
  • For great information on our precious waterways you might wish to attend the following evening at the Fish Hatchery “Lakes I Have Known”: Click here!
  • Water Levels – due to very dry conditions TSW is planning significant water level draw downs in the immediate future – click here. Watch out for navigation hazards appearing sooner than usual.
