Area Representatives conduct an important role in our Lake Association:
- Our waterways are divided into areas with an Area Representative for each
- A coordinator organizes and assists Area Representatives
- They represent your area’s opinions and communicate them to Executive
- Attend AGM so you can share information
- Encourage membership in Association and share the work of the DSLPOA
- Help membership chair keep records up-to-date
- Assist in Directory delivery

Join us to celebrate this year’s Ced Hurd Mile Swim, our oldest waterway event.
Open to all levels of swimmers from beginners to expert and all ages.
The swim was designed to encourage water safety, swimming capabilities, personal bests and to meet lakeside neighbours.
Date: Saturday August 2
Location: Starts at Harris Beach, on Blueberry Point which is the Heyes property
Ends at far side of East Bay on a lovely beach

Swim Start: 10:00 Am
Rules:
- Each swimmer must have a non-motorized safety boat to paddle or row alongside
- Swimmers must swim without assistance from life preservers, floatation devices or their safety boat
- Although we time each swimmer, there is no time limit to the swim
- Participants swim at their own pace
