And yet another!

19 May 2015 | 0 Comments

As reported by one of our members:

Hi all – a paddle boat has been spotted outside of Bonham's Bay – on the opposite shore SW of the Bay entrance.  It's waterlogged and resting close to shore.

Update May 20 – "It is now alongside Moeser's property."

Update May 21 – "I believe the lost paddle boat to belongs to the McCallum family
 We will rescue this weekend
Thank you to whomever posted"

I love happy endings… 🙂

Note: Water Levels

One of the reasons we are seeing a number of floating belongings this year is that our water levels are currently above their historical average. Per the TSW website, here are today's readings – note from the blue line we are tracking at 25 year historic highs:

Floating Dock

  • We have received notice of a dock and ramp floating off Balkwell Bay. For more information email our website or if you're searching for your missing dock have a look.  Hopefully it finds it's home soon!
  •  If you're out on the water keep an eye open for floating debris as the water levels have recently come up, and are currently above our historic average.
