Shoreline “911” signs
As Fire Chief Miles Maughan emphasized at our AGM, it would be very helpful in emergencies if all or most properties had their address sign on the waterfront. It makes it much easier for boaters, snowmobilers or other people on the lake to call in emergencies and report the location. It also makes it easier to find your friends.
Signs can be ordered from Chris at VISTA Signs, (705 457-9796). They are still only $20.00 plus tax.
Remember to hang them above the winter snowline.

We will have the same wonderful afternoon starting at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 2nd (Rain date – Monday at 11:00 AM.) There will be fun activities for everyone along with hot dogs and corn. If you haven’t had a chance to pay your membership just go to this website. All members, their family and friends are invited. See you there!
Novelty Swim – Help please! We are so happy that Joe Parkinsonis is once again able to run the Novelty Swim, it is such a fun event for the younger children. But this is the last year Joe can do it – we are looking for someone to take over next year and you could work with Joe this year to see how things run. Email dragandsprucelakes@gmail.com or call Barb (705) 457-8864 if you have questions or would like more information or can volunteer. We wouldn’t want to see this activity disappear!!!!!
